Our Services

 

We offer:

•        Affordable live-out and stabled livery.

•        Secure kikuyu grass paddocks. Most of the paddocks offer shade under pine trees, and some have shelters.

•        A dressage/jumping arena (20m x 60m) with Table Mountain as backdrop.

•        A lunging ring (20m in diameter). (We are planning to make a second lunging ring in the very near future.) 

•        A picadero (Spanish ring) (14m x 14m).

•        A secure tack room, tacking up bays and parking area.

•        Walk-in stables (weatherproof wooden stables with rubber mats and a thick bed of shavings/straw), each with its own 

         paddock.

•        Live-out livery horses each have their own paddock and weatherproof walk-in shelters fitted with thick

         rubber mats (bedding an optional extra).

•        Daily hoof care and grooming (mornings only), blanketing, fly-masking and fly-spraying and, when needed, the

         administration of prescribed medicine.

•        Experienced grooms that take meticulous care of the horses and give feedback about each horse on a daily basis.

•        Scenic out-rides in the magical pine forest, surrounding vineyards and neighbouring farms.

•        Two dams where the horses can swim.

•        A peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful setting.

Feed

•       Horses stand in kikuyu paddocks during the day.
•       They are fed twice/three times daily.
•       We stock excellent quality oat-hay, lucerne and teff, and various concentrates.
•       We purchase the feed on your behalf, saving you the mark-up fee.
•       Each horse’s diet is designed according to its needs and with input from the owner.

Training and horse riding lessons

If you want to become a confident, content and connected horse owner, the services of our trainer, Laura Foxcroft, are at your disposal. Laura offers holistic horsemanship lessons that include aspects of groundwork, work in-hand and riding. Her aim is to help horses and humans grow together in mutual understanding and joy.

 

You can also bring your own trainer, and we have horses available to lease.
